The storm is here. Dan Landis, private investigator, has been hired by his defense attorney sister to do the impossible. In order to create a miracle, Dan must call on his friends and family, endangering them and putting a target on his own back.

Dan is on the run, his home is in flames, and the bad guys have murder on their minds. The skys reddened in The Five Santas, the clouds began to darken in Cult of Koo Kway, and the thunder rumbled in The Gray Ghost Inn. At last, the storm is here. And everything is about to change.

I'm gonna skip introductions. If you've been paying attention to this blog, you KNOW what series I'm about to talk about and you know how amazing it is. I don't need to remind you again that Dan Landis is a quirky and lovable PI or that his romantic interest is a hoot and a half. What I need to do is jump right into my fangirling.

Have you ever read a series of books that you fell in love with? Sure, of course you have--who hasn't? BUT, fellow reader, let me ask you this question--have you ever read a series that gripped you from the first page of the first book? That kept your interest, kept you gasping and laughing through every word in the series? Have you ever read a series where, out of nowhere, you were FLOORED by how amazing it was?

If you have or haven't, it really doesn't matter--because you should read these books and watch every other suspense novel you've ever read be trumped. 

I swear, these books just get better and better. With each book Dan just gets more lovable and his cases get more gripping. I cannot get enough of Jay Mims! I don't think I can express that enough--I am in love with the series. It is easily the best suspense series I have ever read and I guarantee I will be creeping on Mimsey for more!!

Allow me to reiterate--if you have not read these, you are SERIOUSLY missing out. So go, get off my blog, and BUY THESE. And then, once you read it and fall in love, you can come thank me, and we can be fangirls together. :)
