Let’s start off with you telling us a little bit about yourself and your latest project.
Hi! I’m S.L. Stacker, and I’m the author of the Macyn McIntyre Series. I currently live in Florida with my husband and children. Macyn’s Decision is the third and final book in the series, and it follows Macyn on her journey to finding the man responsible to wreaking havoc on her and her loved ones.
When did you know you wanted to be an author?
In 2009 when I was trying to find free fiction blogs to read.
What are three things you must have to write?
Writing Sweater, caffeine, and quiet
What’s your writing space look like?
We live in a relatively small house, so I don’t have a room dedicated to me. We always use the garage door to come in and out of the house, so I have my desk and computers set up in the entryway. It works!
Why do you write romantic suspense?
I’ve always been drawn to mystery and suspense shows, so it felt natural to write romantic suspense.
What do you love about it?
I love being able to keep a reader’s attention.
What role does music play in your writing? Do you have one album or playlist that works best for you?
Music doesn’t really play a role in my writing. From time to time, I’ll listen to something when I’m writing from the villain’s perspective, but ultimately, I like quiet.
What can we expect next from you?
I have several different projects in the works--another romantic suspense series, a YA Paranormal, and a Romance.
