Welcome to Paradise #1

I grab her exploring finger just as it reaches my happy trail—a trail that if I let her wander down further will lead us to do things we can’t take back. Things like three-word phrases being confessed that would end me if I was rejected. Things like selfishly wanting to own her body and doing things to her that would make my fantasies blush. And things like making her promises too soon that won’t do either of us any good. She makes me want a future that’s not possible, and one I don’t deserve.
Listening to my ego got me into this situation. Will listening to my heart get me out?
Well, well, well. Look at me, sounding like a total hypocrite once again.
And I only say that because I am not exactly a, "Summer Lovin', Love Triangle, Twit Girl + Bad Boy + Nice Guy" book girl... Unless someone is gonna die horribly... Or if there will be many, many tears. But this, this book I actually enjoyed quite a lot.
Scott has written a Summer Romance novel that has gotten the anti-sap girl to actually enjoy it. While I did not really like Mallory at all, Evan made up for it. He had enough story to keep the novel afloat while Mallory turned into the type of character I loathe, and Scott kept my interest throughout (I just told you I hate her main character and loved this book anyway, that should tell you all it's good...)
And me, dumb little me, I am very interested in getting to book 2, because, well... I want to know more about Noah.. *blinks* (there's a frickin' love triangle in here, too, and I still gave it 4 stars! If you have read my reviews at all you know this is a good [or apocalyptic] sign).
